Atmospheric lanes, colourful tenement houses
The Old Town together with the pedestrian area create one of the longest pedestrian walking routes in Poland. This pedestrian area is famous for its colourful tenement houses, churches, charming lanes and well-maintained plazas and squares. You can find there, for example, cultural institutions, cafés, restaurants and a Bacchus monument at the crossing of the streets called Kupiecka and Żeromskiego.
The periodic events take place here, such as Lato Muz Wszelakich (the Summer of All Muses) or the Winobranie Wine Festival.
