Atmospheric lanes, colourful tenement houses
The Old Town together with the pedestrian area create one of the longest walking zones in Poland. The pedestrian area is famous for the colourful tenement houses, churches, charming lanes and well-maintained plazas and squares. You can find there, for example cultural institutions, cafés, restaurants, and the Bacchus monument at the crossing of the streets called Kupiecka and Żeromskiego.
The periodic events take place here, such as Lato Muz Wszelakich (the Summer of All Muses) or Winobranie (the Wine Festival).
