Julia Vineyard
This amazing place is located as few as 5 km from Zielona Góra’s centre and is surrounded by beautiful forest-covered hills. The vineyard was established in 2003 by the Grad family, and as they themselves admit, it was created out of their familial passion and love of vines and a divine tipple, i.e. wine.
Over 1300 vine shrubs grow here, including the red grape varieties: a Pinot Noir, a Regent, a Dornfelder, a Saint Laurent, and the white ones: a Silvaner, a Gewürztraminer, a Chrupka, a Solaris, a Kernling and a Veltliner, as well as dessert grapes. After 10 years of experiments and acquiring knowledge, the owners of the vineyard extended their acreage by a 3-hecatre vineyard in Zabór, a village situated 11 km from Zielona Góra towards the Oder River.
The vineyard owes its prospects of the development to the grape varieties seeded here, such as a Riesling, a Cabernet, a Monarch, a Muscaris and a Johanniter.
